4 generations

This past weekend Shawn went to his parents to throw his brother a bachelor party and Lauren and I headed to my parents to spend some quality time with them. We went down Thursday night so that we could get up bright and early Friday morning to hit some garage sales. We picked up my mom's mom - officially known here as Meme and we headed out.

We hit some really good sales and had an absolute blast. I was so excited to get several pairs of jeans for Lauren in size 3T. I know she won't need them for a while, but they were really good quality and cheap!!!

Obviously this is my mom and me. I think we look a lot alike in this picture. =) We were stopped at Sonic for a much needed icy refreshment!

Meme and me!

I thought this was so cute. Lauren was as thrilled as she could be with spending the day with her Nammy (my mom) and Meme.

This picture cracks me up. I have no idea what she was so shocked about, but isn't that the perfect surprised face?

And, of course, an ice cream cone for a little girl who was just pretty darn good for a FULL day of hitting the garage sales.

When we were done, we headed back to my grandparents' farm. I love it that their chickens roam around in the yard. Oh, and their eggs are fantabulous!!!

It is sooo pretty there. So peaceful and beautiful.

I tried to get a picture with Meme and Papa and Lauren, but Lauren was too busy wanting to get down and play to give me a smile. =) I guess it shows her true self!

We had a great day. A day that I will always cherish.
