Thank you to all who have been praying for Lauren. It has been a stressful week for us and we have felt your prayers.

If we could ask just one more time for prayer, we need it! Lauren's doctor called today and wants us to come back in to her office tomorrow morning. She wants to do another catheter to see if the antibiotics are fighting the infection. Hopefully they are.

The other thing is that with infants as young as Lauren who have UTI's, there is the possibility that her urine is actually backing up in her kidneys. This is known as vesicoureteral reflux or our doctor called it urethral reflux. She is scheduling Lauren for an ultrasound of her kidneys. This will happen at the hospital. From what I understand they are planning on doing another catheter and will insert dye in to see where it travels. We are praying that it does not go into her kidneys.

I am choosing to believe that this is just a precautionary step and that Lauren's UTI will clear up with the antibiotics quickly. Please pray that all of the tests will come back negative!
